The Studio Natur range is born from the experience of a multidisciplinary team specialising in wood veneer processes and design. We carefully select the raw material before industrial production, using the mix matched jointing technique. This process allows for longer sequences than traditional repetitive methods. In addition, it combines veneer sheets with different structures and widths, generating a dynamic effect in the whole and maintaining a similar appearance between several consecutive boards.
The result is a natural and modern finish, with variations in tone and structure, typical of solid wood but with optimal use of natural resources.
Features of the Studio Natur range
Mix match jointing
The mix match composition stands out for the combination of veneer sheets with different structures and widths, giving a certain movement to the whole. This allows relative homogeneity between adjacent boards. A natural and modern look is achieved with certain variations in tone and structure, typical of a solid wood composition.
These possible variations in tone between veneer sheets on the same side after the varnishing process tend to have a greater contrast. Being a natural wood product, this possible contrast cannot be considered a reason for rejection, but rather a design feature.
Reconstituted sheets
In Studio Natur, we find two reconstituted veneers for projects that require greater homogeneity. Their light tone makes these veneers ideal for creating Nordic environments by applying clear lacquers. They are also a good option for applying tinted varnishes of any other colour, such as grey or walnut tones. This makes them perfect for any decorative style.
Thanks to reconstituted veneers, we can guarantee the repeatability and continuity of structures and tones without losing the warmth inherent in a natural wood. This provides a level of attention to detail and care that meets the highest standards. This reconstituted veneer, produced from natural wood veneer through an industrial process, is transformed and gives rise to a new sheet with high decorative value.
