The objective of this project is to implement a photovoltaic installation for self-consumption without surplus at the FINSA industrial plant located in Cella (Aragón). The initiative is part of the company's strategy to move toward a more sustainable energy model, reducing its dependence on conventional sources and promoting the use of renewable energy in its production processes. The project includes the design, supply, and installation of the equipment necessary for generating electricity from solar sources, ensuring its integration with the plant's existing electrical systems.
The expected results focus on a significant reduction in grid-sourced electricity consumption, which translates into significant energy savings and a proportional reduction in CO₂ emissions associated with industrial activity. Furthermore, the facility will contribute to improving the plant's overall energy efficiency and strengthening FINSA's environmental commitment, aligning with the sustainability and energy transition objectives promoted at the national and European levels.
This project has received support from the Institute for Energy Diversification and Savings (IDAE) as part of the incentive program for self-consumption and storage with renewable energy sources, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, Program 2.
