“WE NEEDED MATERIALS THAT WOULD HELP US TO LINK BOTH THE TWO HOTEL BRANDS AND THE RESTAURANT BRAND WITHIN THE SAME SPACE”

Eva Prego, interior designer at Stone Designs.

Novotel & Ibis Styles Madrid City Las Ventas was a project that was symbolic for the chain, implying a radical change of image, with two brands from different categories (Ibis Styles and Novotel). In the common areas, they needed materials that would help to link the two hotels and the restaurant, “we managed to create a space that works as a whole, but where the different flavour of each of them is noticeable,” says Eva Prego, interior designer at Stone Designs.

The project involved the use of natural finishes; something that Stone Designs found in FINSA products, “the variety they offer us always manages to adapt to suit the aesthetics of our work. In addition to aesthetics, FINSA also assures us of the quality and durability of the elements we select”, emphasizes Prego.

“Relying on FINSA guarantees that we can meet the requirements of a project with these characteristics, in terms of strength, durability and regulations”, maintains Prego. She also highlights the technical assistance and advice provided by FINSA, as well as their ability to meet deadlines and facilitate the supply.

At Stone Designs, they try to leave the mark of the studio “in every detail, in every custom-designed piece and in the warmth that is attributed to our projects”, explains Prego. In this hotel, they managed to make the space perfect for the general public as well; a place “where you can enjoy an evening in an environment that is designed to be experienced,” she concludes.
