To increase the company's energy savings and efficiency, the replacement of 3 LINDE brand forklifts is proposed, in particular a LINDE 64 H80T/900 LPG fuel forklift, a LINDE 40 H70 diesel fuel forklift and a LINDE 27 H70 diesel fuel forklift. Instead, three new LINDE brand electric E80 model units would be acquired.
This facilitates the factory's energy transition towards renewable energy, since electric forklifts require less energy to operate, thus reducing overall energy consumption. and reducing dependence on non-renewable sources.
Results in terms of energy savings and efficiency:
-Energy savings: 656,216 kWh/year (final energy), 378,160 kWh/year (primary energy)
-Reduction of CO2 emissions equivalent to 174.74 t CO2/year
The investment is being made at the Finsa centre located in Santiago de Compostela, within the framework of the INEGA's line of aid for energy saving and efficiency in Galician companies for the year 2025, co-financed by the European Union FEDER-Galicia Operational Programme 2021-2027.
