Node Madrid Alcobendas with Biscuit and Roble Amazona
Madrid has established itself as the European epicentre of flexible housing. The need for high-quality temporary accommodation has driven the development of complexes such as Node Madrid Alcobendas. In our role as suppliers, we understand that these spaces require materials that can withstand intensive use without losing their aesthetic value. The interior design was done by DesignAgency has successfully leveraged the versatility of our boards to create a balanced environment. Professional sobriety is combined with the domestic comfort necessary for any type of stay.
Coliving or flex living model lies in its ability to generate community. Node Madrid stands out for offering services ranging from gyms and swimming pools to podcast recording rooms, coworking spaces, sports courts, a terrace with views, a barbecue area or even video game rooms. According to various studies of interior design applied to coliving, show that the presence of wooden surfaces in work areas reduces cortisol levels and improves productivity. In these areas, the visual consistency with the materials used in the private rooms reinforces the identity of the building as an integrated and welcoming whole.
When it comes to accommodation, there are two options: individual studios or two-bedroom apartments, ideal for sharing, with options for a private terrace. All units are equipped with a full kitchen and private bathroom. In all of them, the challenge was to maximise luminosity in compact spaces. To achieve this, DesingAgency selected surfaces that reflected natural light in a diffused way. This is where our finishes —combined with the FimaPan® Decor support— were chosen for the quality they bring to the property. When designing those studios and rooms, DesignAgency considered Finsa materials as the best option.
The choice of colour was crucial to the character of the project. The Biscuit design in Soft III finish from our Duo range was implemented on kitchen and wardrobe fronts. This light beige tone provides the necessary neutrality for each resident to personalise their space, while always maintaining a base of visual warmth.
To add contrast, Roble Amazona in Atlas finish was applied. This design, found on desks and bathroom shelves, stands out for its open knots and natural grain, which, combined with black metal hardware, give a modern industrial feel. This mix of textures is not accidental: it responds to the design trend that seeks to "connect with nature" within dense urban environments.
