Complete apartment renovation in Santiago de Compostela using Finsa materials

Iria Comoxo Estudio is an architecture studio focused on new construction projects, rehabilitation and comprehensive renovations. Specifically, a complete renovation of an apartment in the centre of Santiago de Compostela is the focus of this article. With a sensational surface area of ​​180 m², but with an outdated aesthetic and wear and tear after the passage of years, the architect had great possibilities before her. And for that, I rely on Finsa materials for all the rooms in the house.

After the renovation, white and oak are the main protagonists. Upon entering the house, after passing through a hallway, we find a spacious living room where one wall is practically white —made in FibraPan® H white lacquered— with a veneer gap Roble Alba for television. Upon opening the doors, we find ample interior storage space, all crafted with FimaPan® Decor White SR209 Soft III, just like the office furniture.

From the living room, we connect to the dining room, where that same Roble Alba veneer is present in the room divider and on the side shelf. From that area, we access the kitchen, where we also find a great prominence of our materials. Thus, we find Roble Alba once again on furniture fronts, this time with FimaPan® H support. In the upper cabinets, the fronts are made of white lacquered FibraPan® H and all interiors are made with SuperPan® Decor White SR209 Soft III.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room with furniture made from FimaPan® Decor White SR209 Soft III, countertop Fintop + H Roble Hércules and shelves with that same wooden surface.

But, without a doubt, the crown jewel of this home is found when we access the area that comprises the main bathroom, the splendid dressing area and the bedroom. The toilet area is located in a central cube covered with Roble Alba veneer, a piece completely surrounded by shelves and drawers that allow for the storage of large amounts of clothing. The entire dressing area has been made with SuperPan® Decor Perla Soft III. Finally, in the bedroom,we find once again a large panel in Roble Alba that takes on the role of a headboard.

The house also has another bathroom where we find the Savia rustic edge pine worktop, a material that, combined with tree branch wallpaper, brings an original country touch to the house.
