Baca Dental Clinic, a renovation by Stone Designs with the Hygge Pine design

Stone Designs: Functionality, freshness and the essence of Nordic design
Stone Designs is an interior and product design studio founded in Madrid by Cutu Mazuelos and Eva Prego , with a distinctive style of its own. With a strong influence from Nordic and Japanese culture, their projects show a perfect balance between the most demanding functionality and a vital, cheerful aesthetic with a touch of timeless freshness. They also make a careful selection of natural materials, which is reflected in the fact that in almost all of their projects they opt for Finsa materials.

A health space that pays tribute to a family of dentists
Baca Dental Clinic had not been renovated for over 15 years. The brief for Stone Designs was clear: to transform the premises into a serene and accessible environment that reflected the history of this family of dentists, without sacrificing the functional requirements of a healthcare center.
The resulting distribution is structured in three zones. The reception and waiting room, with light tones and soft lighting , is designed to create a sense of calm from the moment you enter. The hallway It acts as a family art gallery, providing an emotional component that connects the patient to the history of the place. The consultation area completes the tour with a focus on hygiene and order.

A palette of three materials to meet sanitary requirements
To create this calm atmosphere and meet the strict requirements of a healthcare center, a minimalist palette of only three materials was selected, prioritizing ease of cleaning, maintenance and sustainable origin.
Finsa 's solutions play a leading role in all the custom carpentry of the project. The brand's boards have made it possible to shape and aesthetic continuity to key elements such as paneling , the waiting room bench, doors, cabinets, bathroom furniture and shelves, demonstrating that high durability and contemporary design can go hand in hand in health spaces.

Hygge Pine: the ideal pine design for wellness environments
Specifically, for all these applications, Stone Designs relied on the FibraPan® support with the Hygge Pine design in Etna finish. This decorative surface is a clean pine design with linear knots and a Scandinavian spirit: warm without being overloaded, with enough character to define an environment without needing more.
In a healthcare setting where the patient needs to feel calm from the very first moment, Hygge Pine brings that naturalness that no pure white could achieve on its own.
