Co.sea Apartment by Insayn Design: The warmth of the Mesura Acacia Suave

Insayn Design Society is an interior design and architecture studio based in Barcelona, ​​founded by designers Michelle López and Celia Antúnez. The studio stands out for its bold, fresh, conceptual approach with a rebellious touch, moving away from traditional and monotonous spaces.

The Co.sea project: The perfect balance between calm, light and the sea horizon
One of those projects is Co.sea. This is the design of a modern apartment, whose concept comes from combining the warmth of cosiness with the vastness of the sea. The design seeks to transform the home into an experience linked to the personality of its inhabitants, favouring fluidity, spaciousness and a deep emotional connection with the environment through a space full of calm and sensitivity.

Inspired by the maritime horizon, the apartment uses shades of green, aqua blue and, of course, wood to bring balance and serenity. In addition, lighting plays a leading role, transforming the atmosphere throughout the day to reflect the movement of the tides and create a contemporary home full of soul, light and well-being.

Acacia wood as the common thread and soul of the apartment
To create that cosy atmosphere, they opted for an acacia wood design that is present practically throughout the house: panelling, shelving, custom-made benches, ceilings, friezes, headboards, bedside tables and custom-made furniture. In other words, wood is present in all rooms of the apartment.

FibraPan® Decor Acacia Suave Mesura: The technical secret behind its warmth
Specifically, the selected design was Acacia Suave Mesura, which features a soft design, characterised by its cathedral-like half-heights and an intense hazelnut tone. The support on which it is applied is FibraPan®, our MDF board.
