The Willow House

Design studio Morris & Todd has created “The Willow House” in Dublin, a project that redefines living spaces through a careful selection of materials. This home exemplifies the harmony between modern aesthetics and functionality, utilising Finsa products such as Fibraplast Verde Glencoe Technical Matt, Fibracolour Negro Natur White Oak, or Fibranatur White Oak. The heart of the design is evident in the panelling and the TV cabinet, where the warmth of Fibranatur White oak is combined with the sobriety of Fibraplast Verde Glencoe Technical Matt. This contrast of tones and textures creates a cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere. A distinctive element of the project is the integration of doors that blend with the panelling, some of them adorned with an elegant tree motif, adding an artistic and natural touch to the space. An ingenious wine cellar cabinet discreetly emerges from the panelling, revealing a functional and aesthetically integrated storage space. This bespoke solution not only optimises space but also adds an element of surprise and elegance. The choice of Fibracolour Negro Natur White oak for certain details or structural elements contributes to the visual cohesion of the whole, offering depth and enhancing the natural tones of the wood. This work is a testament to Morris & Todd's commitment to creating high-quality, bespoke interiors.
