Improving the usability of recycled materials

This project proposes modifying Finsa 's facilities in Cella, incorporating a system that will allow for the efficient recycling of residual wood materials containing large metal parts. This system will detect and separate these unwanted metal parts, allowing them to be diverted and rejected. As a result, Finsa will be able to process new ranges of materials currently going to landfill at its facilities, increasing the recycled content of its final product and reducing the use of virgin raw materials.

The project “Increasing the consumption of recycled raw materials by improving the recovery process of recycled wood ” is the beneficiary of the call for subsidies to promote the circular economy in companies for the year 2024 from the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) within the framework of the Plan of Recovery, Transformation and Resilience (PRTR), funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
