Hotel Silken Platja d'Aro

The Hotel Silken Platja d'Aro in Girona, a Matescan project completed in 2023, features an interior design that blends warmth and light, creating an atmosphere of elegance and comfort. For the wooden elements, the FimaPan® Decor board with Nogal Slow Atlas and Nogal Victoria Atlas finishes was used, as well as SuperPan® Decor Blanco Polar Soft III, key in defining its spaces. The spacious lobby is distinguished by its panelling and dividing elements, which combine with openwork textures, enhancing a welcoming atmosphere. Light surfaces are integrated to maximise luminosity and a sense of spaciousness. In the rooms, comfort is paramount. Wood is used in headboards, wardrobes and auxiliary furniture, providing a serene and functional environment. The bathrooms maintain the aesthetic of the rest of the hotel, with wood in the mirror frames and details that complement the light surfaces. The hallways, with panelled doors, guide guests through a well-lit and orderly space. Matescan has conceived a hotel where every element contributes to a pleasant stay experience, highlighting the harmony between materials and a design that balances modern aesthetics with functionality and comfort.
