We bring our urban oasis CONNECTIVE NATURE by Finsa to the Fuorisalone 2022

After two years of adverse global circumstances, the Salone de Milan, the largest international design and decoration event, returns with the face-to-face format to which we were accustomed. Finsa could not miss it and it will take its CONNECTIVE NATURE by Finsa exhibition from June 7 to 12 at Tortona Rocks, an incubator for transversal trends in design products and furniture, new technologies, installations, collectives and project creation.

Our space: reconnect through wood

CONNECTIVE NATURE by Finsa is a sensory and interactive exhibition that invites you to reflect on the place of people in society through eight connections with nature. It was developed in collaboration with the studio of the architect Izaskun Chinchilla, recognized for her defense of inclusive urban planning that takes people into account from the projection of public spaces.

Visitors who come to Opificio 31, at Fuorisalone, will be able to experience the ability of nature, specifically wood and the forest, to reconnect with our essence and discover our place in the world through the senses.

The itinerary consists of eight sensory experiences:

• The first consists of a chair with a special backrest configured as a nest, where you can listen to the song of a bird, a therapy that helps combat emotional disorders.

• The second invites you to compose a beautiful image on a water surface in which there are geometric shapes inspired by the tangram.
• The third encourages you to balance your body with your eyes closed on a swing, in order to become aware of dynamism.

• The fourth step aims to awaken the adrenaline and intimate connection produced by telling a secret in a suitable environment for it.
• The fifth experience presents a grassy space where you can lie down to practice relaxation and recover the security that this position transmits to us.
• The sixth route proposes to recite a haiku, a short poem related to nature, to a person who is sitting opposite inside this installation of seats in gradient floral colors. After reading, they are asked to check how they react by means of a smile.

• The seventh phase consists of a sofa made up of inflatable elements that yield unevenly to the weight of each part of the body. This device encourages you to perceive your own essence through this habitual practice in meditation.
• The last experience culminates in a community connection in which visitors are expected to share a pleasant memory at a circular table. This final touch obeys the essential of the shared memories as unifying elements of the communities. Ultimately, CONNECTIVE NATURE by Finsa encourages generating a collective experience of the entire journey through social networks, using different hashtags at each stage of the exhibition itinerary.
