LimeHome Porto Rua Dom Manuel with Fintop Xtrim worktops

Designer apartments in a historic building
The project of Limehome Porto Rua de Dom Manuel (located in the Boavista area, near the Crystal Palace Gardens) is an example of how the design apartment sector is integrated into renovated buildings. The architectural intervention in this building in Porto seeks to adapt modern comfort without sacrificing the heritage value of the surroundings.

Dialogue between the historical and the modern
Unlike other chain hotels that are identical in every city, the interior design in this building on Rua Dom Manuel respects the Portuguese heritage:

-Preservation of elements: High ceilings have been maintained and, in some units, large wooden windows that connect the interior with the landscaped courtyard or urban views.

-Historical aspect: The design does not erase the building's past, but rather highlights it through contrast with contemporary furniture with clean lines.

The materials chosen, such as the Fintop Xtrim worktop, complement this dialogue without imposing themselves on the environment.

"Designed to Stay" Aesthetics
Limehome's philosophy is based on a warm minimalism called designed to stay. In the Porto project, this translates into a use of neutral tones combined with industrial and modern accents. The goal is to create welcoming spaces where the integrated kitchen is not just a functional element, but a central piece of the decor.

Kitchen with Fintop Xtrim Mármol Hades Balm worktop and Verde Oliva fronts
It is precisely in this element of the room where Finsa materials take centre stage. In the LimeHome Porto Rua Dom Manuel kitchens, the range chosen has been Fintop Xtrim, ultra-thin 13mm thick worktops with post-formed front edge. The chosen design is Mármol Hades, a black base marble accompanied by an elegant white veining, with a Balm finish, which provides a silky feel.

On the other hand, we also find Finsa material on the kitchen fronts. Specifically, the particleboard FimaPan® Decor with design Verde Oliva Soft III, a board with a dark green decorative surface.
