"All our manufacturing processes are optimised so that we achieve maximum energy saving by cogeneration (exploitation of the heat and energy produced by the own factory) and minimum waste production"

Raw and sustainability

FINSA is committed to sustainable growth, which extends over the limits of our factories. We obtain our main raw material, timber, from nature…, and our duty is to respect and protect it.
We develop different actions in collaboration with other private and public associations, which promote the protection and the efficient management of forests.
The development of the areas near our factories and of the people living there is another of our daily commitments.

Forests managed in a sustainable way are CO2 sinks.
The wood-derived product are carbon stores. They have an important role in the increase of the efficiency of forests. On the one hand, they enlarge the period in which CO2 is stored before being freed to the atmosphere again, and, on the other hand, they promote the growth and renovation of forests. The production and the processing of wood have high energy efficiency, they may replace other materials which require high amounts of energy for their production.
