With that objective a share swap has been carried out whereby a certain part of Moinsa becomes a shareholder in Finsa while on the other hand Utisa shares are in turn now held 100% by Finsa.

FinLight is a leading product among the lightweight solutions to applications which require chunkier boards. Finlight is made from thin MDF sheets on the outside and low density MDF in the inside. With this new addition to its range of lightweight solutions, we offer the following outstanding features::
Weight reduction for chunkier panels and slabs.
Highly resistant and highly stable panels when compared to other lightweight, frameless panels available in the market.
Processing. Even though the board has a low density in its interior it can be processed much the same as standard board including cutting an edging.
Range and design. Finlight has a wide range of thickness and qualities, it is also available with melamine decors or veneers on top.
Logistic advantages. The lightness of the product makes it advantageous when it comes to transporting the product, storing and handling.

The new catalogues, GENERICS for Portugal, and BAMA EXPRESS COLLECTION for Great Britain and Ireland, were developed upon the principle “think globally, act locally”, thus adapting to the singularities and taste of its customers in these countries.
The GENERICS catalogue gathers 30 indispensable designs, wood and uni-colour, for the Portuguese market. The collection ranges from reproductions of tropical wood such as Izombé, Tola, Sucupira or Wenge, to a large range of designs of European species, predominated by the traditional Oaks and Beech. The news are the nine designs added to this collection, out of which we highlight the metallized Metalfino and the linear design Arava Tinto.
The BAMA EXPRESS COLLECTION is aimed at the demanding Great Britain and Ireland markets, where design coordination and development among PVC and melamine manufacturers is indispensable. Thus, the collaborative work carried out in the last years is now consolidated in this third edition of the BAMA catalogue. The 68 designs which were selected are the clear evidence of our large experience and knowledge of the market. The most demanding customers can find the so expected perfect match in designs such as Satin Olive, Sicilian Ash, Clair Oak or Noyer Tiepolo A, already presented as proposals in the last edition of the ZOW BAD SALZUFLEN exhibition in Germany.

(0)Finsa participates in the development of Technology Center for Energy efficiency and sustainability, EnergyLab promoted by the Ministry of Industry and innovation, universities Galician and other private companies like Union Fenosa, Inditex and Indra that has been formed in Vigo.
Following the signing of act, the Conselleiro of Innovation and Industry, Fernando X. Blanco, reported that EnergyLab be installed in units of the Technological City of Vigo in Vigo campus.
According to Blanco, EnergyLab Galicia placed at the head of state when a novel and cutting-edge research in energy, since it means the first such centre exists in Spain.
The budget for the creation of associated EnergyLab is 470,000 euros, of which the Xunta will provide 140,000 euros, 240,000 euros private initiative and the three universities Galician 90,000 euros.
Blanco stressed the "pooling" of efforts by government agencies, university system and private initiative, as one of the main "assets", he said, the center EnergyLab.
For the Conselleiro, technology centres in Galicia manage to make "a bridge" in the triple helix of the Galician-research firms, universities and government-to the development of the whole research capacity of Galicia.
Blanco stressed the need for EnergyLab, as, at times like the present, steady increase in energy costs, this new technology centre opens "interesting ways" to the autonomous community of Galicia.
Although it still needs to discuss the priorities of this center, advanced the Conselleiro that issues and projects to develop this new technology centre are related to the implementation of the Development Research over more research (ID i) in the energy field With the aim of achieving a rational use of energy throughout its chain, from production to final consumption.
Blanco spoke of the need to create structures that will lay the groundwork for a solid i ID system, which ensures the results in the medium and long term.
The manager of Industry indicated that the Centre must now develop an "intensive work" to achieve its main objectives, including technological advances in the energy sector in delivering services, production processes with improved energy costs and less impact environmental, more competitive prices and guarantee quality of service to consumers.
The Centro of Tecnoloxía help to generate knowledge and develop technologies for the Galician companies and open "interesting ways" to the industrial and service sectors in Galicia can be more competitive, said Fernando Blanco.
